Windy City Assassin

Windy City Assassin poster

An entirely custom image created by me depicting my childhood hero and favorite NBA player of all time Derrick Rose. Derrick is an icon of perseverance suffering multiple careers ending knee injuries throughout his career severely limiting his once hall of fame career trajectory. This poster displays a young Derrick Rose playing for his hometown Chicago Bulls in the peak of his then short NBA tenure.

Moonlight Giraffe

Moonlight Giraffe image

Completed early in my design career this project depicting a starry night giraffe is still one of my most simple designs and favorite to this day. This Giraffe has such a personal meaning for me because after completing this in Adobe Illustrator I began feeling much more comfortable as a graphic designer.

Lost Soul's Art Show

Lost Soul's Art Show flyer

Another important piece with great personal meaning to myself this art show flyer was my first attempt at free-lance graphic design. The flyer and art show both were a great success, and I am personally most proud of the blood texture displayed on the title words. This was very tedious and since it was young in my design career it took a great deal of time to complete but I am still immensely proud of this project.

Iconic Icons

I wanted to display my ability to both create graphic design icons as well as drawn artistic icons. A good logo/icon can make or break a company in the new age world. An example of this would be found in Carolyn Davis the creator of the Nike Swoosh, she managed to create such an iconic logo for Phil Knight and his company that the rebranding of what was once blue-ribbon sports into Nike went great and is now seen amongst the greats of athletic companies throughout the world.
